My career began over 20 years ago as a medical assistant. My passion for medical science and health allowed me to advance my career and continue my education. I obtained my Bachelors Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington while working in critical care and occupational medicine. I earned my Masters Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington while working at the Heart Hospital Baylor Plano and Regional Care Hospital in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Intensive Care Unit.
In addition to working in hospital settings as a Certified Critical Care Nurse, I have experience as a Certified Occupational Health Nurse and volunteer with community emergency disaster response as a member of the Lamar Delta Medical Reserve. The Lamar County Medical Reserve Corporation is an interdisciplinary team of volunteers whose mission is to support the existing public health infrastructure by enhancing public health emergency response and increase community awareness of public health issues.
In addition to my degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, I have a certification as a Nurse Education and may serve as a Nursing Instructor to both undergraduate nursing students and graduate nursing students.
I have certification in aesthetics by National Laser Institute for Botox® and Juvaderm® Fillers. The most recent addition of skills includes Vampire Facelift®, O-Shot® and Vampire Facial®. It is my goal to enhance both inner health and beauty and external health and splendor to clients.
I value the patient as a complete individual, addressing the biological, psychological, social and spiritual health of that person. It is my true desire to enhance a positive healing experience and confidence to my patients.
