At Vitality Health Center & Medical Spa, we have a much different approach than most med spas. From our spa services and medically supervised weight loss to our functional medicine consultations and treatments, we focus primarily on holistic natural treatments and procedures that promote beauty and wellness.
Our treatment approach works with the body’s ability to achieve balance and regenerate beauty and health. Our practice is designed for people who desire lasting changes without harmful chemicals or unnecessary drugs, as well as individuals who are interested in discovering the root causes of their problems, motivated to participate in their own healing process and willing to make necessary changes to their lifestyle.
We encompass the whole person in our methods, whether that means receiving a facial, detox treatment, functional medicine consultation, or a weight loss evaluation. We view the body as an interconnected web that has a dynamic relationship to its environment and lifestyle. It is our mission to help our clients achieve their goals, while also helping them to realize their own beauty, strength, and wellness.

Functional Medicine Certified
Brandy is a Family Nurse Practitioner who developed a passion for functional medicine after recognizing the serious short comings in the conventional medical model with chronic disease management. She became very frustrated with the endless recommendations of medication for every symptom and disease. As with many of her patients she fell prey to lifestyle related illnesses such as autoimmune thyroid dysfunction, adrenal and sex hormone dysfunction, anxiety, and undesirable weight fluctuations. Desperate to find the root cause of the dysfunctions and the treatment for the underlying pathology, she discovered Functional Medicine. This was the beginning of both her journey and the path to lead others on their journey to optimal health.
Brandy has been in the health care field for over 20 years. At the age of 20, she became an RN and began her 9-year career as an ICU nurse. She pursued her higher education at the University of Texas at Arlington and graduated in 2004 with a 4.0 GPA and a Master’s of Science in Nursing Degree. She then became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2005. She also co-founded a busy private medical practice in 2006.
In 2011, her path in functional medicine began when she heard a speech by Dr.Jeffry Bland on inflammation as a basis for degenerative diseases and the role of epigenetics in health and disease. Since that day, Brandy has studied functional medicine through every means possible. She is now a Certified Functional Medicine Provider by the Institute of Functional Medicine. She has sought out numerous leaders in the field to be her mentor, and has completed Level 1 training with Chris Kresser, LAc and the Kresser Institute for Functional and Evolutionary Medicine. She also holds a Functional Medicine certification with the Kalish Institute.
Brandy is known in her community for her dedication to nutrition, fitness, and general wellness. It is her mission to help individuals feel and function optimally. She lives in Paris, Texas with her husband, Gary, and two busy boys, Walker and Reed.

She was the first female athlete inducted into the PJC HALL OF FAME. Later, she was awarded a scholarship to play basketball for the Lady Frogs at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
Fran continued her journey coaching athletes to reach their full potential, all while continuing to pursue wellness for herself. On her journey she met Brandy Preston at the gym and they became workout partners. Through many diets and fixes the REAL FOOD PROGRAM was born! Fran and Brandy enjoy their workouts and new way of eating! They especially enjoy helping other frustrated middle-aged people with resistant weight gain and other symptoms that plague this age group.
